hikin with abby
this is the time of yeer wen peepol get all excited about the trees and theyr leaves fallin on the ground. i haf no idea wut all the fuss is about but since it means another excuse to go hikin and dog-venturin i reely dont care why!
me and my peepol went for a long ride in the car and we met my friend abby and her peepol to go for a hike in the woods! oh how i luv to go for hikes in the woods! here i am takin my turn as the trail boss.
my peepol are so wierd. they kept stoppin to look at the leaves in the trees and said how pretty they were. anydog cudda told them that the most interesting leaves are the ones on the ground with smelly stuff under them! silly peepol.
here is abby bein the boss of the mountain. we took turns but abby wuz boss most of the time. she dozent know that every time she marked a spot as the abby-is-boss-spot i came rite behind her and marked over it as the ivy-is-the-boss-spot. tee hee! dont tell abby!
here is me and my lindsay taking our turn as boss of the mountain. we cud see soooo far!
from the top of that mountain i cud smell everything on the breeze!
look look wut i found after our hike!! it is the ivy lodge! i wanted to say there but the peepol said we had to go home.
we also saw a nuke-u-ler laundry. wow! i wuz very glad that my peepol didnt want to give my toys a bath there!
wen we came home i sleeped sooooo good! i hope we can go for more hikes in the woods soon!

wow ivey! that looks like an awesome adventure! my mom is jealous she wants to go to the mountains and see the colorful leaves. maybe i will get to go on a sniffy leaf-filled adventure too!
Woo, Ivy! What a fun hike! We don't have mountains here, but we DID go up where the Giant lives this weekend.
They should let you stay at the you-lodge for FREE!

That's very cool, Ivy! We don't have mountains here, either.
So that's what leaves on real trees look like, eh? We only have a couple of kinds up here and they all turn yellow, no pretty reds and oranges. The tundra turns those colors but that's on the ground. Good sniffin' but not so good for hiking on. Wet and spongy. Maybe I should come visit you!

Ivy, the Ivy Lodge is obviously named after you, so you must be the boss of the Lodge! My momma says to tell you the picture of the leaves looks pretty.
By the way, are your peepol done with remodeling your house? I thought that maybe since you had time for a hike, the remodeling was done? Oh wait, I just remembered your wall garden...
Ivy, my daddy took me hikin too this weekend....'cept we didn't go for a long ride (which would have been fun)...we just walked to the gate in our fence and onto the trail that used to run on my yard. It was fun...and I got my paws all muddy. Mommy scolded daddy cause he let me off the leash when we gots home without cleanin my feets.

hey hana... i am afeared my peepol will never be done messing up my house. rite now they are waiting for the amazing labs to sniff out wut kind of mold we haf and send us back a full report. those labs must be kinda slow cuz it has been a reelly long time now.
randy thinks maybe the mold got reelly big and took over the whole lab place!

oh ivy i wish i coudl could hiking with you up the mountain...but mom is a lazy butt lately...all she does is work and sleep...i get tiny little beach visits...you are one lucky pooch

There used to be a nuclear laundry in my mom's home town. How wierd. Mom never washed her clothes there.
