good benjamin, bad benjamin

look! look! see how well i am training my benjamin?
now he tries to reach the dog cookie jar to get cookies for me!

too bad my lindsay saw him do it and took the cookies away. *sigh*

yesterday my benjamin did a very bad thing. he finally learned to use my dog door to let himself outside... and that wuz the end of my little dog door! no more ivy freedom, no more inside-outside-inside. now i haf to knock on the door to be let in and out. how sad! woe is me!

Man, you are teaching Benjamin very well. Too bad he was stopped from getting your cookie.
Now you have to knock to go out? Well, maybe he will stop using your dog door and you can have your freedom again. This may take a year or 2 however, Just depends. Hang in there Ivy. He should start dropping lots of good food real soon.

Don't worry Ivy, when your Benjamin is too big to fit thru the Ivy door you will have your freedom again. What that also means is that he'll have an easier time reaching for your cookies too!!! W00t!!!

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Yes, Benjamin will soon be too big for your door and a good size to get cookies.

Ivy: Maybe you should get Benjamin his own door? Then you would not have to share yours. Don't despair. Food is comin

He is such a fast learner! You will get your dog door back I am sure. Soon he will just use the bathroom like the other humans ;)

Gee that is terrible Ivy. (Stop laughing Mom!! Gee you would think Ivy told a joke or something the way you are laughing. Yes, I KNOW you can just see little Benjamin shimmying out the dog door and you wish Ivy's peepol had taken a picture of it. But they didn't ... this is serious. What if Ivy has a poddy emergency now and can't get outside real quick?! Gee Mom, stop laughing.) Ivy, my Mom loves the picture of Benjamin standing up reaching for the cookies. She says it is very well done and she thinks he is adorable. If he was here, she would pick him up and kiss him, that is what she does to Miriam.

You should get the infrared dog door. They only open with the special collar. That's what we have

You had an awful day, Ivy! No cookies, thanks to your evil mom, and no freedom! One day Ben's hiney will be too large to fit though your dog door and maybe you'll get it back! We think you'll have to be patient though!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

How about leaving your doggie door flap open, but having BP knock on the door to be let in or out. My Mom says that at work they like to apply new rules to everyone instead of addressing the actual problem with the one individual!

How exciting and the baby proofing height rises again. Seirra too awaits the day when Bethy is big enough not to be knocked over when we give her run of the house.

Hope you are doing well,
Kimberly, Josh, Bethy, Seirra and Nick Nick too.

Oh man doesn't your mom know you and Ben could go outside together and you would watch over him.
